Stephen runs the Strangford Guiding Co. on his beloved Strangford Lough, where he guides and instructs in all aspects of Saltwater Flyfishing. Stephen is the third generation of the Kennedy family to have fished the wonderful lough with the fly. His specialist subject is seatrout but he enjoys all saltwater species including, Mullet (the Irish Bonefish). He is equally at home on the large loughs and rivers of Ireland, fishing for Wild Browns, Sonaghon, Gillaroo and Salmon. Stephen can arrange guided packages anywhere in Ireland including a flyfishing school on the famous River Drowes and Lough Melvin. He is a proud member of the Hardy Greys Academy.
Guiding Statement
At
the Strangford Guiding Co. we endeavour to offer the highest possible
guided angling experience to all our clients. From saltwater flyfishing
on Strangford Lough for Seatrout, Pollock, Bass and Salmon to fishing
on the River Bann, or drifting on Lough Melvin in search of the famous
Gillaroo, or Pike fishing on one of the Drumlin Loughs of Co. Down.
Our clients will get a truley unique experience.
